3. The never before seen mini-series version of Pope Joan will air on the The REELZ Channel in the US starting December 18th (Reelz page for David). It will air in two parts. The REELZ channel is very good at repeating their original programming, so this should get plenty of airtime.

4. David has received a nomination for the 2011 AACTA Award (formely the AFI Award) for Best Lead Actor for his role in Oranges and Sunshine.

October 2011

1. David has been nominated for a Best Actor 2011 Inside Film Award for Oranges and Sunshine. The film has picked up a total of nine nominations. Legend of the Guardians picked up two, one for sound and one for music.

2. The site has been given a facelift. The Career pages have been expanded to include a synopsis, cast list, character info and trivia. I've also taken the links, video and audio listings and put them on the pages. While some pages have quotes and others don't, I do plan to add quotes to the pages at some point.

3. Oranges and Sunshine will be screened at two film festivals: The Hamptons International Film Festival and The Vermont International Film Festival.

1. Oranges and Sunshine will be the opening film at the Dungog Film Festival in Australia, which is held from May 26-29th.

2. David will be performing in The Seagull at the Belvoir in Sydney this summer. I've created a page for the production here.

3. The Wayside Chapel has launched a new commercial with David doing the voice-over.

4. Killing Time has aired four episodes so far in New Zealand. It started on Tuesday, April 12th. Six more episodes are scheduled to air on Tuesday nights. Read more about it here.

5. US film distributor Cohen Media Group has bought the rights to show Oranges and Sunshine this fall.

6. Glenn Owen Dodds will are on the US Public Broadcasting Station KQED in San Francisco in May.
